To tell you the truth, when I told my parents I wanted to be a writer, they were pretty thrilled. It ended their dream of having a lawyer or doctor in the family but was a decided improvement from my 5-year-old self’s ambition to be 'a princess'.
One Journalism degree, a semester studying in Oxford, UK, and a few cheeky scholarships later, I’ve got a long list of writing clients I’m pretty darn proud to work with.
From long and short form journalism to feature and advertorial writing, web and print content to social media strategy, a constant curiosity gets me into a lot of different areas. If you want to know about what I know, give the old CV a peek.
My stories have appeared in New Zealand Herald , Idealog , StopPress , and The Spinoff, while commercial clients include NZME, Nissan, Supreme Coffee, House of Travel, NZ Ministry for the Environment, WorldBank USA and Tearfund NZ.
When I’m not putting words together, you’ll probably find me using up the free monthly New York Times articles, drinking too much coffee or researching whatever culture-trend I'm currently obsessed with.
